Investigating Extracellular Vesicles in Health and Disease

Unveiling diagnostic and biotherapeutic potential. Our research delves into the multifaceted world of extracellular vesicles (EVs) to unlock their potential in diagnostics and biotherapy. With a keen focus on cancer, we aim to pinpoint diagnostic biomarkers for precise cancer detection and harness EVs for personalized therapeutic cancer vaccines. Our efforts also extend to exploring mesenchymal stem cell-derived EVs for alleviating autoimmune and autoinflammatory symptoms. By engineering EVs to carry biotherapeutic ligands, we target a range of conditions from infectious diseases to complex disorders, pioneering advancements in personalized medicine.

Harnessing Immunosuppressive Oligonucleotides for Autoimmune and Autoinflammatory Diseases

Targeted therapies for chronic inflammation. Our project explores the  use of A151 immunosuppressive oligodeoxynucleotides (ODNs) to mitigate  chronic inflammation in autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and SLE. By targeting specific  signaling pathways involved in these diseases, A151 ODN can reduce  immune overactivity and pathological inflammation. This promising approach offers a new pathway to alleviate symptoms and potentially halt disease  progression, paving the way for more effective treatments.

Advancing Vaccine Platforms with Virus-Like Particles

Robust protection against viral infections and beyond. We are advancing vaccine technology using Virus-Like Particles (VLPs) to provide effective protection against viruses like SARS-CoV-2 and other significant viral threats. VLPs mimic natural viruses but are non-infective, triggering strong immune responses without the risk of disease. This research not only targets viral infections but also explores VLP applications in fighting cancer and addressing neurological disabilities, creating versatile and potent vaccine formulations for future healthcare needs.

Join us in unraveling the mysteries of EVs, exploring immunosuppressive therapies, and developing next-generation vaccines. Be part of the future of medical diagnosis and therapy.
